Mr Arley Don Dodd

Our beloved Don went to be with his heavenly father on April 3, 2017. He was a heart transplant survivor of 17+years. Don was born in Frame, West Virginia on Jan. 27, 1940. He worked for Kenny Shoes for many years raising his family and ultimately had a long career in the Greyhound Dog business. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Arley and Vesta (Atkins) Dodd. He is survived by his wife and companion of 26 years, Patricia Moretti Dodd. They resided in Arlington, Texas for the past 14 years after moving from West Virginia. He is survived by, his first born daughter, Beverly Theriac and husband Mike residing in Cummings, Ga. They're daughter, Michelle Evans and husband Nicky and granddaughter Mya residing in Dawsonville Ga. Middle daughter Ramona Alvarez and her children Amber and Aaron Alvarez along with Amber's son Landon living in Naples Florida. Baby girl Donna Carper and husband Jay of Procious, WV. With Son Corey Simms and his wife Miranda along with their 3 daughters Aleeah, Allianya and Remington. Also Daughter of Donna and Jay, Gracetyn Carper. The mother of his children Margaret English and his brothers and sister and many nieces and nephews. He will be having a Memorial Celebration of Life in Arlington, Texas in April then his final Memorial Service will be held in his home state of West Virginia in May officiated by his child hood friend, Keith Monday.
