Bob Clark

Robert Glen "Bob" Clark, 82, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb 8, 2014. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission or Gideons International, P.O. Box 317 Decatur, Texas 76234. Bob was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Harlow and Lillian Clark, the first of three sons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. First and foremost, Bob was a Christian who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a catastrophe insurance adjuster and worked all over the U.S. when there was a hurricane or other disaster. His purpose in life was to serve the Lord, his family and the policy holders who had suffered loss from disasters such as Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy; and granddaughter, Jennifer Stephens. Survivors: Wife of 27 years, Flo Clark; sons, Randall and Ronald; daughters, Kristine deCastilho, Keri Vaughn, Kelli Stephens and Karla Alexander; grandchildren, Craig, Joshua, Michaila, Danielle, Ary, Trinity, Thomas, Jason, Stephanie and Clayton; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; and brother, Kenneth of Des Moines, Iowa.
