As a child, he loved school and learning and always valued hard work. After graduation, he became a Master plumber and worked for Shell Oil Company. He married the love of his life, Dorothy, and celebrated 68 years of marriage before her passing in 2009. During WW II, he proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seabee in the Aleutian Islands. Casey worked at USI Chemical Company until retirement and made many life long friends. He was an active member of First Christian Church in Pasadena, TX for 48 years. For 50 years, he was a Mason and was also a Shriner. Our dad treasured family gatherings and the joy his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought to his life. He was so proud of his family. Casey had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful story teller. He could build and fix almost anything. Playing the guitar and singing good old country music was an almost daily activity. He liked spending Saturday nights with his friends at the Senior Jam Music at the Dan Echols Senior Center. He enjoyed his many friendships and social activities at Parkwood Retirement Community. The family wishes to thank the wonderful people at THR Harris HEB, Parkwood Health Center and Maranatha Home Health for the care and kindness given to our dad.
