Donna Nausley

Donna Vaughn Nausley, 76, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 16, 2014, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church, 941 West Bedford Euless Rd. in Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line. Rd.in Hurst. Memorials: To honor Donna's memory the family request donations to Peace Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society. Donna was born on Nov. 16, 1937, in Tamaroa, Ill. to Lucy Mae and Byford Vaughn. She married James Nausley in July 1954. She lived in Bedford for 40 years. Donna was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church since 1979. Donna had her private pilots license and was a member of the 99's. She loved family time especially at the beach, traveling with Jim and doting on her grandchildren. Survivors: Her loving husband, Jim to whom she was to celebrate 60 years of marriage in July; daughters, Renee Briscoe and her husband Steve, Denise Warbritton, and Melissa Dornak and her husband Lorne; grandchildren, Sarah and husband David, Paul, Ryan and wife Meagan, Alyssa, Clay, Aiden and Aaron and fiancé Tanya; the first great grandchild will be born in September; and many other loving family members and friends.
