George Edward Greener

George Edward Greener, 78, a life-long resident of Grapevine, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2015. Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday at Sheppard Drive Baptist Church, 219 N. Sheppard Dr., Euless, TX . Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine, TX. George was born on November 19, 1936 to J.C. and Faye Greener of Grapevine. He graduated from Grapevine High School in 1955. For over 42 years, Mr. Greener was an airline fueler for Allied-Ogden (formerly Allied Aviation Fueling Company) at Love Field in Dallas, and then at DFW Airport. He enjoyed walking, watching football (especially the University of Texas Longhorns) and family get-togethers. George attended Sheppard Drive Baptist Church in Euless and enjoyed the fellowship of his church family. Survivors: Daughter, Debbie and husband Joe Schober; son, Gary Greener; three grandchildren: Jennifer Paty and husband Adam, Stacey Kelley, and Sarah Littlefield and husband Brent; eight great-grandchildren: Brittney Ellis, Grace Ellis, Paige Ellis, Jake Ellis, Eve Paty, Craig Carnes, Hannah Carnes and Luke Milner.
