GRAPEVINE -- Jerry Mainard went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in Grapevine Cemetery. Gerald K. Mainard was born in Wewoka, Okla., on Feb. 11, 1934, to Kenneth Mainard and Inez Dunn Mainard. He was known as Jerry to family and friends. His big heart, great laugh, love of fun, and undying loyalty to the University of Oklahoma are among his trademarks. He loved deeply and will be missed greatly by those who knew him. Survivors: His wife and soul mate, Relda Mainard; sons, Michael and Steven Mainard; daughter, Melissa Mainard; and stepson and daughter, Lance Dunahoe and Laurea Irving. A beautiful legacy of grandkids includes Makenzie Mainard, Kendall Mainard, Preston Mainard, Keller Mainard, Jackson Mainard, Bodhi Mainard, Fisher Mainard, Landon Dunahoe and Gavin Dunahoe.
