Mr. Harold Lloyd Modine

It was the seventeenth day of September nineteen-hundred and thirty-four, in the city of Lyons, Texas, that the birth of Harold Lloyd Modine took place. His parents, JW Modine, and Georgia Campbell were proud to announce to family and friends that they were blessed with a baby boy. In early life, his family moved to Bryan, TX and later to Fort Worth, TX. Harold attended FWISD schools and later became an independent owner of a taxi stand and service station. Harold later began working as a mechanic and retired from DFW Airport Board. During his lifetime Harold found his love, the late Mildred Cecil Mayberry and the two were married March 13, 1958. This union was blessed to share nine children. He confessed a saving hope in Jesus Christ and united with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor JD Campbell. On Saturday August 8, 2020, Mr. Harold L. Modine Sr. surrendered to the call of his Lord and transitioned from earth to glory. He was preceded in death by his parents, JW Modine and Georgia Campbell; his bride, Mildred Cecil Modine; sister, Melvin Montgomery; sons, Harold Jr. and Rickey; and daughter, Tammy.
