Mrs. Hazel Lee Martin White

Hazel Martin White was born February 20, 1936, to the late Hayward Martin and Eula Bradley in Saline, Louisiana. Hazel received her education from Shady Grove ISD. Hazel met her soulmate while visiting her aunt in Las Angeles, California, and they married in 1955. To this union, three children were born along with Johnny and Linda Sue. All five of the children were born in the month of September, and 'No", it was not planned. After moving to Fort Worth, Hazel worked several jobs that required her to work on weekends but she always made sure we were in Sunday School and Church. Years later Hazel was blessed to retire and become a fulltime granny and babysitter. Hazel was a faithful member of Greater Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Sherman Johnson. Later, Hazel moved her membership to Holy Way Missionary Baptist Church to be closer with her daughters, Donna and Debra, under the leadership of the late Pastor Melvin Pace. Hazel was a faithful member of the Senior Usher Board, Sunday School and Women Mission. Hazel remained active until her health declined. During the pandemic Hazel would always be up and ready on Sunday morning to listen to the word. Any given time you could catch Hazel deep into her daily shows, Let's make A Deal, The Price Is Right, Soap Operas, The Talk and Law & Order. On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 God saw fit to take her to her Heavenly home, not made by man.
