JACKSBORO -- Juanita Penelope Cypert passed away February 7, 2015. Memorial Service: 10:00 am February 11, 2015 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst. Penny was born July 30, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to John Paul Keating Sr. and Margaret Penelope Reding. She graduated from Birdville High School and attended North Texas State University and earned a B.S. in Education. She earned two Master's degrees in Earth Science and Geology from East Texas State University. She taught in the Birdville ISD for 35 years and was active in retired educators organizations in both Birdville and Jack County. She was a member of Mensa. Penny enjoyed travel and working on the genealogy of both her and husband's families. After their retirement, Billy and Penny moved to their ranch in Post Oak, Texas where she returned to the country life that she enjoyed in her early years. Penny was married to Billy Eugene Cypert, on December 2, 1960, with whom she had two cherished children. Penny was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Billy Eugene Cypert; daughter, Juliana Penelope Cypert; son, James Devlin Cypert and his wife Rushaniya; brother, John Paul Keating and his wife Debbie; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staffs of both Beyond Faith Hospice and Faith Community Hospital in Jacksboro for all their kindness and care during this difficult time.
