Lawrence "Larry" was born in Detroit, Mich., on June 19, 1963. Landon was born in Houston on Nov. 18, 2004. Larry was an engineer for Shell through GATE. Landon attended EC Mason and Duke Elementary. Larry and Landon were loved by everyone who was blessed to know them. Landon's joy for life was infectious. The boys loved adventure. Their favorite hobbies were sailing, flying, swimming, baseball, and playing with the dogs. They loved God, and had both accepted Jesus as their personal savior. We will love and miss them both until we get to meet again one day. Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Latham; and his father, Robert Liptack. Survivors: Both are survived by wife and mother, Charlotte Dawn Chelette Liptack, principal at Manvel High School. No one could have ever loved their boys more than Charlotte. Larry and Landon are survived by Larry's daughters and Landon's sisters, Lauren Liptack Martinez and husband, Michael Martinez, and Juliet Liptack McNew, and husband, Caleb McNew. Larry is survived by his mother, Judith Collinsworth, and stepfather, Henry Collinsworth; and stepmother, Gayla Liptack. Landon is survived by his loving grandparents listed above as well as Charlotte's parents, Robert Gus and Linda Sue Chelette; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him.
