Ola Mae Benge

Ola Mae Benge, 84, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Interment: Bourland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Ola Mae was born March 16, 1929, to Kelton and Molly Pettigrew in Apache, Okla. She was very witty and loved to joke around. Ola Mae loved being with her family, but mostly with her grandkids and children. She was happy and proud of being a housewife. She enjoyed her dogs (they were her babies), crocheting and eating at IHOP. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Obie Benge; her son, Ricky Don Richardson; parents, Kelton Pettigrew and Molly Suit; three brothers; one sister; and one grandchild. Survivors: Daughters, Shirley Lee and her husband, Ray, Marilyn McClendon and her husband, Edward, Judy Golden, Joyce Pilkington and June King and her husband, Danny; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Pettigrew.
