Wanda J. Lehrmann

Wanda J. Lehrmann, 76, died after a short illness Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in North Richland Hills. Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 941 W. Bedford Euless Road, Hurst, Texas 76053. Wanda was born in Rule on Nov. 9, 1938. A loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Wanda personified West Texas warmth and hospitality with a smile for everyone she met. Willie and Wanda are charter members of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. Wanda retired from Watauga Elementary after 25 years of serving as an education aide. Wanda had a loving spirit and always cherished her family, friends and her role as a homemaker. Wanda received extraordinary and loving care from the staff at Keller Oaks Health Care Center. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff and administration for their loving concern and support of Wanda. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ruth Allison; brother, Alfred Allison; and sister, Laverne Lee. Survivors: Husband, Willie Lehrmann; sons, Michael Lehrmann and wife, Janet, of North Richland Hills, Scotty Lehrmann and his wife, Jonda, of Arlington and Mark Lehrmann and his wife, Teresa, of South Lake; grandchildren, Amanda Webb and her husband, Jordan, Chelsea Hampton and her husband, Trey, Mallory and Karen Lehrmann, Austin and Quinn Lehrmann and Andrew Lehrmann; great-grandson, Grayson Webb; twin brother, Benny Allison and wife, Wilma, of Canyon; and many loving nephews and nieces.
