HURST -- Alleen Christine Dawes passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: You may honor Alleen with a donation to Gideons International. Alleen was a loving mother. She was born July 20, 1912, in Taylor. She had lived in Hurst for 25 years and was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. Survivors: Son, Emmit Koelle Jr. and his wife, Betty Koelle; granddaughters, Janet Suedmeier and Diane Burk; and seven great-grandchildren.
