Anna Gordon

Marie was born Anna Marie Dettmer on May 6, 1925, in Ironton, Mo. ??? She was the youngest of 11 children born to Frederick and Ada Viola Callison Dettmer. ??? Marie moved to Haltom City with her husband, Paul, and their four children in 1956. ??? Anyone who knew Marie will attest that although she was tiny in stature, she was huge in heart and character. Nobody parted company with her without taking a kind word or sweet smile with them. ??? Marie will be sorely missed and her memory forever cherished by her family and friends. ??? Marie?s children would like to thank Merrye Dalluge and Shannon Ray of Vista Care Hospice, as well as her dear friend, Sharon Colter, for the loving care they provided Marie in the final months of her life. ??? She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frederick Gordon; and her daughter, Sharon Ann Howard. ??? Survivors: Son, Gary Gordon and wife, Leslie, of Fort Worth; daughters, Beverly Cline and fiance, Rick Walters, of Granbury and Linda Gabler and husband, Ted, of Youngstown, Ohio; grandchildren, Darren Rutledge and wife, Lesley, of Seal Beach, Calif., Misty Moyse and husband, Doug, of Dallas, Gary E. Gordon of Marysville, Calif., Jennifer Harten of Fort Worth, Stephanie Browning and husband, Gage, of Arlington, Tiffany Cline and Kevin Cline of Fort Worth, Corey Walters of Granbury and Ted Gabler and Bryan Gabler of Youngstown, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Chase Barbare, Kacie Rutledge, Mathis Rutledge, Garrett Rutledge of Seal Beach, Calif., Kendall Moyse of Dallas, Lauren Vega, Christina Vega, Gabrielle Vega of Fort Worth, Alexis Browning of Arlington and Tanner Cline of Fort Worth. Bearers of her casket will be Darren Rutledge, Gary E. Gordon, Rick Walters, Corey Walters, Gage Browning and Ted Gabler.
