HURST -- Annie Laura Fein, 88, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at a local care facility. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Hurst, 1801 Norwood Drive, with senior minister, Rev. Dr. Jeff Burnett, officiating. Interment: Following the funeral, Annie will be laid to rest in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth, next to her husband of 52 years, Henry O. Fein, who preceded her in death March 14, 1995. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Annie Laura Stuart Fein was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Grand Saline, the second of six children to James Franklin Stuart Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Stuart. She married Henry O. Fein Aug. 15, 1942. Annie was a longtime resident of Hurst moving here in 1959. She worked for R.E. Cox and Company for 24 years before retiring in 1979. She received The Pioneer Award from the city of Hurst and lifetime membership of H-E-B Methodist Hospital Auxiliary. Her other memberships included First Baptist Church of Hurst from 1959 until her death, Oak Crest Woman's Club, Auxiliary H-E-B Hospital, Hurst Chapter of AARP and Senior Citizens Advisory Committee for the city of Hurst. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by siblings, Savanah Lee Ayers, William Henry Stuart, Bettie Mae Stuart Davis and Mary Elizabeth Stuart. Survivors: Son, David Fein and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Bradley Fein and wife, Lisa, and Steven Fein; great-grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Brady, Tatum, Dylan and Wyatt; brother, James F. Stuart St. and wife, Frances; other extended family; and many friends.
