Anthony "Tony" Wayne Newman

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Newman, 70, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Fort Worth.

Tony was born June 18, 1952 in Fort Brag, North Carolina to Charlotte Ruby Dotson Newman and George Wayne Newman.

He graduated from Amon Carter Riverside High School, Ft. Worth and earned his BS in Chemistry from Texas Wesleyan University, he was a research chemist for Johnson and Johnson and developed 2 patents. Tony traveled the world for his various jobs. He was an Auctioneer for Central Antiques. And served as a deacon at the Meadowbrook Church of Christ, Ft. Worth. He served as a Bible class teacher wherever he attended. Pallbearers: son, Kurt, grandsons, Andrew, Kristopher, Jonathan, Elijah, and Judah. Honorary Pallbearers: Treasured friends and family :Jerry Talkington, Bruce Wesson, Marty Winn, Beri Fraley, Mike Newman, Ernest Finney.

Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Kathy Brown Newman; 3 children - Kurt Berry, Kristi Green and Summer Cox and husband Jason; 8 Grandchildren: 2 Great Grandchildren; father - George Newman and brother - Paul Newman.
