Arland Jimmy Hawn

HURST -- Arland Jimmy Hawn, 93, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Mr. Hawn will lie in state 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Arland was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; two brothers; and his wife, Rachel Pearl Hawn. Arland worked for many years at Bell Helicopter. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Navy. Survivors: Arland is survived by his niece, Pat Bridges of Dutton Ala.; and dear friends, Wanda and Phillip Wheeler, and Robin and Morrow Whited.
