WATAUGA -- Ascencion Gonzalez, 94, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Hurst. Burial: will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Ascencion was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Gonzalez, and her daughter, Teresa Valdez. Survivors: Her daughters, Carmen Martinez, Janie Mendez and Maria Gonzalez; sons, Federico Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez and Ismael Gonzalez; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
