Barbara J. Cox 84 Passed away July 4, 2022 Surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in Kemp Oklahoma, moved to Texas at 15 and lived in Fort Worth all her life raising her children. She was employed at Sammy's BBQ on Belknap in Haltom City about 13 years and then worked at Johnson's Cleaners on 7th Street in Fort Worth, for her Sister Mary Johnson, as manager, where she was retired from.

She was happily married to James Cox until his death until 2004. She loved her yard work with her "Baby "Siri "puppy. She has special nicknames, Babs, Barbara cutie, and Pretty Morning. She was a peacemaker, counselor and a best friend and would brighten the room as she entered, and loved her family with all her heart.

She was the Matriarch for 65 years and will be missed dearly. We are so blessed to have had her this long, and her love will forever live in our hearts and family. Until we meet again

She was preceded in death by Husband James Cox.

Barbara is survived by her children: son, Chris Hansen and wife, Caroline; daughters, Jackie Richardson-Stoker and husband, Rickey and Jane Wylie Young; grandsons- Philip Hawkins and wife, Eva, Eric Hansen, and Duane Pickett; granddaughters: Kachira Peardon, Leigh Hansen, and Christian Hansen; 13 Great-grandchildren; Siblings, Wayne Richardson of South Carolina, Tommy Potter, Debbie Potter, Terri Potter all of Fort Worth Texas.
