Belle Ballew

HURST -- Mae Belle Ballew passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Shady Oaks Baptist Church. Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd., Hurst. Mae Belle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was pictured by all who knew her as a faithful child of God. She loved to sew and made a business of creating clothing. A native Texan and longtime resident of Hurst, she loved and was loved by her church family. Survivors: Children, Gary and his wife, Beverly, Carl and his wife, Joan, Darlene and her husband, Don, Gene and his wife, Mellanie; brother, Herbert and his wife, Janet; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
