Betty Jean Blontz, 73, went to her heavenly home on Sunday morning, July 6, 2014. Betty was born on March 17, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was a loving wife and mother, and an all around sweet woman who was adored by everyone who knew her. The family is comforted to know that Betty has finally been reunited with the love of her life in Heaven. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and her sister, Patricia (Pat) Pemberton. Surviving Betty are her daughters: Audrey (L.T.) Thorne, Lisa (Steve) Wilson, Lori Blontz, and Sharon Blontz; son: Earl Lowell Blontz, III; her grandchildren: Max (Joni) Thorne, Kirk Thorne; Joshua, Nicole, Elizabeth and Alexis Cook, Brendan and Austin Blontz; her great-grandson: Lyndon Thorne; and a host of nieces and nephews and their families. Betty's memorial service and interment will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
