Billie Jo Montgomery

Billie Jo Montgomery, 85, entered the presence of her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, December 9th, at her home in Hurst, Texas. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 12th at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Euless, 1000 W. Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas, Rev. Bill Anderson officiating. Interment: 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 12th at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11th at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Euless Library, 1000 W. Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas. Billie was a loving Christian mother of two children. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. "Rex" Montgomery in 1974. She was always thinking of others before herself. She was a faithful member of FBC Euless for 46 years and a volunteer worker in the church library for many years. Survivors: Son, Jim Montgomery and wife Neta of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter, Brenda Moore and husband Tommy of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren: Robert Moore of Burleson, Texas, Timothy Montgomery and wife Hannah of Port Townsend, Washington, Clinton Moore and wife Tara of Burleson, Texas, Jeremy Montgomery and wife Candice of Columbia, Illinois; and seven great-grandchildren.
