Billie J. Vaughan

FORT WORTH -- Billie Jo Vaughan, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery, the Rev. Johnson Shannon officiating. Billie Jo was born in Vernon, and was a graduate of Harris College of Nursing. She had a 43-year career with Dr. Burgess Sealy and Harris Hospital. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years and sang faithfully as a choir member. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Lily Davis; husband, J.B."Johnny" Vaughan; and sisters, Joyce Hail and Dorothy Parker.
