Billy Tarwaters

- Billy G. Tarwaters, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smithfield Cemetery. Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials are requested to a favorite charity. Billy, the son of Gail and Agnes Herring Tarwaters, was born Nov. 13, 1928, in Fort Worth. He served in the Texas National Guard. Following several years as a clothing salesman, he became self-employed repairing and restoring homes. Survivors: Wife, Claudene; daughters and their husbands, Jean and Harold Adeler, Susan and Ted Asher; grandchildren, Wendy Daniels, Laurie Willis, Adam Asher, Samantha Portales, April Asher, Justin Asher; sister-in-law, Barbara Downing.
