Bob Morgan

Bob Morgan, 85, went to be with his Heavenly Father May 12th, 2014. Bob served his country faithfully as a member of the Army Air Corp and United States Air Force for 20 years. He then served the Waco School District working in the districts warehouse and food distribution areas. He completed his work career at McLennan Community College in their maintenance department. Bob was very active in his local Southern Baptist churches, serving for many years as a deacon, first in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas and then in Lorena, Texas. He loved to work with his hands, building model airplanes and later all manner of clocks. His clocks are proudly displayed in the homes of his family and friends all across Texas. Mr. Morgan is survived by his son, Mike, his step daughter Peggy Miller, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Catherine Morgan and his brothers and sisters. His funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lorena on Thursday, May 15th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Lorena Cemetery.
