Bobbie Geraldine Hammack passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2015 in Grapevine, Texas. She was 95 years of age. Funeral Service: A service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. A private interment will take place at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis. Bobbie was born on January 30, 1920 to Finley and Ara Gibson. She grew up on a farm near Oak Grove, Texas during the depression. When she graduated high school, she moved with her family to Ennis, Texas where she met Tommy Hammack. They were wed on August 19, 1946 in Roswell, New Mexico but raised their family in Ennis. Tommy preceded her in passing on January 15, 1969. Bobbie not only worked as a mother, but also a seamstress, and an administrative assistant for various businesses in Ennis, and retired as an employee of the Chamber of Commerce in 1995. She moved that same year to Grapevine, Texas. She loved travelling, her dogs, dancing, gardening, bingo, fried chicken and catfish, mustard hamburgers, cornbread and sweet onions, and chocolate. Mom was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Jason Witten was her favorite player. Mom never missed a game. She was also a Texas Rangers fan. She was also preceded in passing by her parents; her brothers, Monroe and Calvin Gibson; and her sister, Betty Collins. Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Pam Richards and husband Steve, Gail Hammack and husband Doug McDaniel, and Marge Langford; grandchildren, Tricia Hambrick and husband Mike, Shelia Austin and husband Keith, Phillip Podhrasky, Thomas Johnson and wife Cindy, Gordon Langford and wife Leila, and Mike Langford; great-grandchildren, Nik Nault, Courtney White, Kristian Graves, Autumn Hambrick; Ryan, Madison, and Ashley Podhrasky; Abby and Cait Johnson; as well as, Clint and Scott Austin; great-great-grandson, Aiden Alvey; niece, Denise Whitford; and nephews, Bill, Bobby, and Donnie Gibson.
