Brian E. Grant

ROANOKE -- Brian E. Grant, 89, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Service: Private cremation services were held. Brian was born June 6, 1923, in New Brunswick, Canada, to Edwin and Vera Grant. Brian served in World War II and at D-Day with the Canadian Army. He was a member of the Moslah Temple of Fort Worth for over 50 years and was a member of the Shrine Motor Corps. Brian was preceded in death by his sisters, Calla Summers and Mattie Grant; and brother, Ellis Grant. Survivors: Daughter, Deborah Hinners; stepchildren, Vicky Ferguson and Larry Miller; brothers, Gordon and Vernon Grant; nephew, Steven Grant; a grandson; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
