ROANOKE -- Byron Nelson, 94, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at his residence.  Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Richland Hills Church of Christ, 6300 N.E. Loop 820, North Richland Hills, with Mr. Rick Atchley officiating. Burial: There will be a private family committal following the funeral. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Lucas Memorial Chapel, 517 N. Sylvania.  Bearers of his casket will be Nelson Mitchell, Kevin Youngblood, John Tangeman, Bob Hamm, James Kelsoe and Mike Washburn.  Memorials: To honor Byron, the family would suggest memorials to the Mission Fund of Richland Hills Church of Christ.  Survivors: His beloved wife, Peggy; stepsons, John Tangeman and his wife, Anne, and Stan Tangeman and his wife, Hope; sister, Margaret Ellen Sherman; brother, Charles Nelson and his wife, Betty; and five grandchildren.
