HALTOM CITY -- Carlita Owens Smith, 83, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Funeral: 10:00 am Wednesday in the Chapel of Williams and Lucas Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Carlita was born June 22, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She served many years as Church Secretary of Riverside Baptist Church. Above all she was a loving Mother and Grandmother. Carlita was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Smith. Survivors: Sons, Darrel Smith and wife Tammy of Fort Worth and Warren Smith and wife Susan of Fort Worth; daughter, Tara Smith and husband Steve of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Emily Smith, Amanda Smith, and Joshua Smith; and her Church Family from Riverside Baptist Church.
