Cecil Edward."C E" Hudspeth, Jr. Cecil E. "C.E." Hudspeth Jr., 75 passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010. He was born May 22, 1935 in Gainesville, Texas to Cecil Edward Hudspeth, Sr. and Ruby Sherrill. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher in the Pilot Point area, where he managed Massey Cotton Gin for thirty-five years. He spent twenty years serving as a director of Texas Cotton Ginners Association and was active in Denton County Agriculture Appraisal District. C.E. was a member of Singing Oaks Church of Christ. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 24, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas. Services will be officiated by Ross Thomson and Bob Bentley. The family will host a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX. Burial will be at Rosston Cemetery, Rosston, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Nora Jo of Pilot Point ; one daughter, Vickie Baker and husband, Brett of Lucas, Texas; two sons, Paul Hudspeth and wife Temple, of Austin Texas; and Dale Hudspeth and wife Jennifer of Carrollton, Texas. C. E. is also survived by five grandchildren, Lauren Baker, Amy Baker, Kristen Hudspeth, Connor Hudspeth, and Carson Hudspeth; one brother, Jerry Hudspeth and wife Nelda of Valley View, Texas; and three nieces, Janet Schobelock, Mary Terry, and Susan Smith. He is also survived by one sister in law, Suzanne Druss.
