EULESS -- Cecil Duane Thompson, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at a local hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: 3 p.m. Monday in Prairie Hill Cemetery in Prairie Hill. Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cecil was a graduate of Highland Park High School and Baylor University in Waco. Survivors: Wife, Jo Nell Thompson; son, Stephen Duane Thompson, daughter, Gena Lynn Carr; brother, Ron Thompson; grandchildren, Adam Newberry, Clint Thompson, Julie DaSilva, Nick Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Chase DaSilva, Dylan Thompson, Travis and Ryan DaSilva.
