Cecilia L. Valdez

Cecilia Valdez, born on November 22, 1932, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at 5:24 p.m., at the age of 93. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, wife, and cherished member of her family. Cecilia devoted her life to the people she loved. A devoted Catholic, her faith was an important part of her life. She was a proud member of the Guadalupanas, a Catholic church group honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, and her faith and devotion were an important part of who she was. Cecilia will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, her devotion to her family, and the many memories she created throughout her life. Cecilia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Camilo Valdez; her beloved daughter, Veronica Valdez; her great-great-granddaughter, Brisa Garcia; and her great-great-grandson, David Mathew Garza. She is survived by her daughters. Family of Maria Valdez Louis Garcia, his wife, Elisa, and their children, Ariana, Sophia, and Daniel. April. Family of Veronica Valdez Though Veronica preceded her mother in death, Cecilia’s love for Veronica’s family remained a lasting part of her life .Andrew. Jonathon, and his child, Azul .Desiree, her spouse, Ezekiel, and their children, Omri, Ezra, and Heavenly. Cecilia’s family was her greatest treasure. She was blessed to see her family grow across generations and to become a great-great-grandmother. Her legacy of love, faith, and family continues through her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her family will forever cherish the time they shared with her, the lessons she taught them, her strength, her love, her faith, and the memories that will remain in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, Cecilia’s love and faith will live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace and remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Funeral Service will be Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:30AM at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 3601 Altamesa Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76113. Burial will follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery, 7301 E. Lancaster Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76112.
