Chad Carl Young, 57, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Grapevine. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Chad was international vice president and director of Region 5, United Food and Commercial Workers Union. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to, Region 5 Leukemia Fund, 241 E. Survivors: Loving wife, Lynn Young; daughters, Heather Young, Ashley Young, Jamie Colbert and Kelly Colbert; grandchildren, Maya Young-Haugen and Cameryn Calhoun; mother, Esther Young; sisters, Patti Jo Corey and husband, Karl, and Mona Young; and many other loving family members and friends.
