Charles Fisher of Haltom City Texas, passed away on May 14, 2020 in Haltom City, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born February 20, 1945 in Vernon, Texas to Doris and Delbert Fisher.

Charles served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 He was stationed at Toul, France. In Paris, France in 1967 while on his TDY, he met Josie. Shortly after, they married in Watauga and had two children, Lisa and Charles Jr.
Charles retired from Bell Helicopter in 2007. He enjoyed spending his retirement between Hico and Haltom City.

Charles is survived by his bride, Josie Fisher of 53 years this coming June, two sisters, Wanda Gregoire and Karan McCuistion, daughter, Lisa Marie Johnston and her husband Jeffrey, son Charles Fisher, Jr. and his wife Shelley, grandchildren Stephen, Ethan, Logan, and Laney, and he will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Doris and Delbert Fisher, brother, Tim Fisher, and daughter Amy Doris.

The visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday May 20th at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday May 21st at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, with limited seating.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are all under, a private burial will take place at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, TX.
