Charles Martin,

ARLINGTON -- Charles V. Martin Sr., 80, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at home surrounded by his family.Charles was a veteran of World War II and a prisoner of war for eight months. He married Mildred Slavens on Dec. 17, 1949, and they raised five children. He will be missed. We love you, PaPa. Charles was preceded in death by sons, Chuck and Sherman. Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Mildred; daughters, Connie (Brian) and Becky (Rick); son, Doug and wife, Tracie; daughter-in-law, Arlene; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
