Charlie James Andrews

Charlie James Andrews, 86, went home to his Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Funeral: 11 am Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, The family will receive friends 10 am prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Charlie was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired as an Air Traffic Controller. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and 3 children, Sheri Smith, Sheila Andrews and Steve Andrews. Survivors: His loving wife of 64 years, Betty Andrews; sister Mary Martin; son, Charles "Bubba" Andrews and his partner Kirk Renfroe; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandson.
