Chester Hudson

MANSFIELD -- Chester "Steve" Hudson, 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Interment: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home. Steve was a retiree of Ford Motor Co. and Tarrant County. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars and lawnmowers and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a longtime member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield. Survivors: Wife of 64 years, Jessie Hudson; daughter, Linda H. King and husband, Wesley; brother, Joe Hudson Jr. and wife, Nancy; sister, Evelyn Hart; grandsons, Stephen W. King and wife, Brandy, and Matthew C.
