BEDFORD -- Christopher Michael Furrow left this earth in Bedford on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, 16 days short of his 30th birthday. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UT Southwestern Medical Center, Box 910888, Dallas, Texas 75391-0888, to support mental health research; or Lutheran Social Services, 8305 Cross Park Drive, Austin, Texas 78754. Chris was born in Corpus Christi on Dec. 23, 1984. He graduated from Southlake Carroll High School in 2003. He took flying lessons while in high school, soloed and flew his cross-country flights. He attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and had an internet radio show for several years. Chris worked for The Airport Valet for several years and had recently begun a management training program at Papa John's Pizza. Chris loved all sports, especially NASCAR, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He loved music, socializing, floating down the Frio River in Concan and giving bear hugs. He was known for his lengthy, but heartfelt prayers at family dinners. Survivors: He leaves behind his loving parents, Peggy and Mike Furrow; birthmother, Patricia Quisenberry; sister, Leigh Ann Boyer (Tim); half brother, Ben Quisenberry; grandparents, Olga Hubsch and Bob and Eileen Furrow; and many relatives and friends.
