NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- C.A. Sanford, 76, retired North Richland Hills city manager, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at a local hospital.  Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Hurst, 1801 N. Norwood, Dr. Jeff Burnett officiating. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Open visitation: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst; the family will receive friends 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Hurst.  Survivors: Wife, Gwen; sons, Gary Wakefield Sanford and his wife, Susie, Paul Wayne Sanford, Robert Benton Sanford and his wife, Mo, and Tommie Gasaway and his wife, Susan; daughter, Julie Jean Sanford McBrayer and her husband, Carl; sister, Elizabeth Burns; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
