Curtis Minor

Curtis Carlton Minor was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Shawmut, Ark., to the late Lee Curtis and Addie Minor. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Curtis was a charter member of the Moslah Legion of Honor, Smithfield Masonic Lodge 455, American Legion Post 569, where he held many offices including commander. He was a member of Hallmark Baptist Church. Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Minor. Bearers of his casket will be the Moslah Legion of Honor. Honorary bearers will be Warren Webb, Charles "Chuck" Talbert, John Castillo, Ralph Crawford, Bill Naughton, J.I. Taylor, Frank Quin and Art Wright. Burial: Laurel Land Cemetery, Fort Worth, with Smithfield Masonic Lodge 455 conducting the graveside service. Survivors: Daughter, Beckie and Rich Adamson of Fort Valley, Ga.; grandsons, Chris Adamson of Huntsville, Ala., Todd Adamson of San Diego, Calif.; great-granddaughter, Rachel Adamson; and dear friends, Margaret Morris, Warren and Terry Webb.
