Daniel Montgomery

FORT WORTH -- Daniel "Papa" Montgomery, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, surrounded by his family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North). Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Daniel was born July 17, 1936, in Fort Worth. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth and retired from Taylor Dressed Beef after many years. Survivors: Wife, Geneva Montgomery; daughter, Billie Phillips; granddaughters, Brandi Gandy and Candi Staples and husband, Tyrell; grandson, Dicky Blake; and several great-grandchildren.
