Dexter McDaniel Miles

Dexter McDaniel Miles, 72, passed away on December 19, 2014 in Euless, Texas. Service: 11 am, Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Dr. Jeff Burnett officiating. Burial: 1:15 pm, Tuesday at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Monday at the funeral home. Dexter was born on September 28, 1942 in Olanta, South Carolina to Clifton and Travis Miles. He served his country proudly during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force from which he retired after 21 and a half years of dedicated service. Dexter is preceded in passing by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Miva Miles; his parents; and his brother, David Miles. Survivors: Sons, Thomas Michael Miles and wife Tracey, and Robert Alan Miles and wife Susan; grandchildren, Rhys Miles, Roman Miles, Ravyn Miles, Christopher Garcia and Brandon Garcia; brother, Joel Miles; and sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Yarborough.
