Dolores "Dee" Marion Williams

Dolores "Dee" Marion Williams, 86, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at Keller United Methodist Church. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or the building fund at Keller United Methodist Church. Dee was born Oct. 11, 1927, to Louis Thorson and Hazel Hansen Thorson in Beloit, Wis. After graduating from South Beloit High School, she received her registered nurse degree from Kings Daughter Nursing School in Temple. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Texas State Teachers Association and Keller United Methodist Church. Dee loved reading, playing bridge, shopping and interior design. She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Donald, Dick and David Thorson; and sisters, Barbara Nielsen, Nancy Mellen and Dorothy Thorson. Survivors: Her husband of 66 years, Tom Williams; sons, Mark Williams and wife, Camille, and Joe Williams; sister, Betty Lampher; brother, Bill Thorson and wife, Elona; sisters-in-law, Shirley Thorson and Virginia Thorson; grandchildren, Josh Williams, Danielle Fitzgerald and Jason Williams; stepgrandsons, Nick Eatman and Evan Eatman; six great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
