Donald Thompson

MANSFIELD -- Donald Thompson, 79, a loving dad, granddad and great-granddad, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a very brief battle with cancer.  Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.  He was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; and wife, Mary.  A very heartfelt thanks to Norma and Joye of Tender Heart Hospice for their tender loving care of our loved one.  Survivors: Daughter, Patti Smyth; grandchildren, Kimberly Wagner, Karen Baghaei and Jeff Smyth; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
