Dorothy Jean Hemphill

Dorothy Jean Hemphill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Everyone who came in contact with her loved her dearly. She was a kind and loving woman who devoted her life to her family and church. She was very active in her church, and would assist with vacation bible school in the summers.She and her beloved husband, Pete, had been married for over 70 years and their story is what outsiders define as a true love story. Jean and Pete enjoyed fishing, church, baking and spending time with their loved ones. Jean was a very encouraging and kind individual. Her big blue eyes and bright smile could light up a room. Her grand kids and great grand kids adored her. Her family is left with many precious memories and her legacy lives on through all who loved her.
