Dorothy Lewis, 99, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, in North Richland Hills. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Smithfield United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Smithfield United Methodist Church. Dorothy was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Celina to Jordan and Sarah Cornish. She was a longtime member of Smithfield United Methodist Church. She was preceded in passing by her husband, V.C. Lewis; and son-in-law, Louis McCrory. Survivors: Daughter, Sally McCrory; grandsons, Mike McCrory and wife, Kim, and Scott McCrory and wife, Michelle; great-grandchildren, Chase, Jordan, Ashley, Nick and Ethan; and many loving family members and friends.
