Douglas A. Green ROANOKE -- Douglas A. Green, 66, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at a veteran's hospital.        Service: The family will plan a memorial service for a later date.        Douglas was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Douglas was a retired school teacher.        Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Charlene Green; son, Lee Green and wife, Jeannie; daughter, Amy Smith; grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Trey Smith, Eleni Green and Christopher Green; brothers, Larry Green and Roger Green; father, Bernard Green; and beloved friend, Mommy Cat.
