Edna Hopkins

Edna Stephens Hopkins, 77, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away Monday, May 31, 2011. Edna was born in Pickens, South Carolina. She married Morris A. Hopkins in 1955 and moved to Texas to start a family. Through the years she has been a seamstress, interior decorator for Sears, apartment manager and caregiver for the elderly. She loved to fish, garden, arrow head hunt, play bingo and visit with her friends and family. Survivors include her Sons, Anthony Ray Hopkins, Richard Morris Hopkins; daughter, Sherri Lynn Hopkins Maserang and husband Henry; grandchildren, Samantha & Mackenzie Maserang, Brandi Hopkins, Taylor Gothard. Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Morris A. Hopkins "Hoppy"; son Stephen Matthew Hopkins; parents, Thomas Louie & Jessie Pearl Patterson Stephens; brother, Willie Ray Stephens.
