Mr. Mitchell was born Sept. 1, 1939, at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas to Dorothy May Clower Mitchell and James Borders Mitchell. He married Judith Adkins Fenimore on Easter Sunday, April 6, 1980, and 35 years of wedded bliss followed. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, brother and grandfather. His passion for his Lord and Savior was exemplified in all he did, and he had no greater joy than to worship God through singing in the Peace Lutheran Church Adult Choir. He had a knack for computers and fixing things and enjoyed tinkering in his garage in his free time. In his retirement, Ed drove a school bus for Keller ISD and found profound happiness in serving the children in his community. His joyful spirit was infectious and he was a blessing to all who knew him. Ed is preceded in death by his mother; father; and grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren DeFord, and Meredith Fenimore.
