Elsie Jane Kuhn of San Antonio, Texas passed away, December 1, 2014 in Southlake, Texas. Elsie leaves behind her son, Alan S. Kuhn and wife, Renita Kuhn, of Fort Worth, Texas, her granddaughter, Stephanie Whisenhunt of McKinney, Texas, Son-in-Law, Mike Whisenhunt and wife Linda Whisenhunt, of Bonham, Texas. Elsie also leaves her sister, Eva Werth, of Knippa Texas, nieces Lynda Harp and Patsy Hasty of San Antonio, Charlotte Muecke and Shirley Brice of Knippa, Texas. There is also many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, William S. "Booby" Kuhn, her daughter Judy Whisenhunt and her granddaughter, Jennifer Whisenhunt. Elsie was born March 24, 1924, and raised in Knippa, Texas, by Nick and Sophie Jurick. She graduated high school as a Knippa Rockcrusher and later attended business school in San Antonio. There she met William S. Kuhn, who was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad and they were married on October 3rd, 1941. Elsie was an accomplished seamstress and devoted wife and mother. She volunteered for many organizations in San Antonio throughout her lifetime and loved to travel. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life service is planned for early 2015 in San Antonio. Service provided by Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.
